This season, Mr. Jagde appears as Cavaradossi in
Tosca at both the San Francisco Opera and the Deutche Oper Berlin and makes his role debut as the title role in L
es Contes d’Hoffmann at the NCPA in Beijing. He also appears as Rodolfo in concert performances of
La bohéme with Lorin Maazel and the Münchner Philharmoniker.
Now in his third year as an Adler Fellow at the San Francisco Opera, Mr. Jagde’s mainstage appearances have included Joe in

He also appears as Rodolfo in concert performances of La bohéme with Lorin Maazel and the Münchner Philharmoniker.
Now in his third year as an Adler Fellow at the San Francisco Opera, Mr. Jagde’s mainstage appearances have included Joe in La Fanciulla del West, Janek in The Makropulos Case and Vitellozzo in Lucrezia Borgia. Other recent engagements have included his debut at the Santa Fe Opera as Cavaradossi, Pinkerton at the Virginia Opera and Minnesota Opera, Rodolfo at Lorin Maazel’s Castleton Festival and Syracuse Opera, and his European debut as the title role in Werther at the Teatr Wielki Opera Poznan in Poland. He has also made appearances at Opera New Jersey, Chautauqua Opera, Opera Company of the Highlands, and Des Moines Metro Opera.
Mr. Jagde holds Bachelor and Master of Music Degrees in Voice and Opera Studies from The Purchase College-Conservatory of Music. The second-prize winner at the 2012 Operalia Competition with Placido Domingo, Mr. Jagde won accolades for his interpretations of Wagner-Strauss repertoire with the Birgit Nilsson Prize.
