Summary: This is a full-time sales and booking position for which the Agent is responsible for delivering consistent results for a distinguished roster of soloists, chamber music, touring attractions, choral ensembles, dance companies, touring orchestras, and special projects. The position is self-directed and high volume requiring a highly organized, self-motivated and confident individual.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
• Negotiate all aspects of a potential booking with presenter partners to create mutually successful engagements
• Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the diverse roster of artists
• Generate new business and possess the ability to convert leads into confirmed dates
• Understand offer terms, presenter budgets, ticket scaling, technical riders, and artist needs
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with presenting institutions in a large territory within North America
• Problem solve and research new performance opportunities
• Collaborate with a team to meet goals
• Participate in booking conferences throughout North America (limited travel)
• Attend evening and weekend performances as needed

• 3+ years experience working at a management agency, presenting organization, or other relevant industry experience (candidates with sales, development, or account management experience preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop and maintain long term professional relationships
• Demonstrated poise, tact, diplomacy, listening skills, and persuasiveness
• Goal-oriented, self-directed and motivated
• Demonstrated history of negotiating financial terms or equivalent experience
• Extremely organized and able to manage and prioritize multiple projects at once
• Thorough understanding of the performing arts and music industry
• Strong ability to confidently and professionally interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
• Must be able to work in a virtual office environment as necessary

• BA Degree or equivalent experience
• Additional languages are useful but not required

Compensation & Benefits:
• Salary: Annual Salary – payable bi-weekly

Administrative Assistant – Managerial
Opus 3 Artists, a leading company managing and developing the careers and touring activities of many of the world’s most exciting performing artists and ensembles, is seeking an Administrative Assistant. This is a full-time position that provides administrative and clerical support to the Manager of Artists and Attractions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs:
• Schedules and organizes calendar, travel coordination and expenses
• Prepares and tracks performance contracts
• Tracks artists’ payments and/or commissions
• Fields routine and non-routine questions via phone and email including communication with artists, presenters and orchestra managers in the US, Europe and Asia
• Assists the Manager in the management of their schedule
• Assists artists with all logistical details associated with concert touring, including coordinating rehearsals, travel, hotels, visas and creating itineraries
• Works independently and within a team on special, nonrecurring, and ongoing projects. Acts as a project manager for special projects, at the request of the Manager, which may include: planning and coordinating multiple presentations, disseminating information, and organizing company-wide events
• Creates and designs general correspondences, memos, financial reports, charts, tables, graphs, etc.
• Performs other duties as needed

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy
• Strong ability to confidently and professionally interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated knowledge of and competency with a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
• Strong attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
• Demonstrated Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling and prioritizing multiple competing tasks and demands
• Must be able to work in a virtual office environment as necessary

• BA Degree or equivalent experience
• At least 2 years’ experience as an Assistant
• Additional languages are useful but not required; the ability to engage with people who are passionate about classical music is a plus

Staff Accountant

Summary: Opus 3 Artists is seeking an experienced full-time staff accountant to manage the Accounts Receivable function of the Organization. The position reports to the Chief Accounting Officer while working closely with the CFO to ensure data standards and compliance are followed.

Accounts Receivable Accountant Job Duties:
• Receives and processes incoming checks and wires on daily basis
• Reviews engagement contracts to verify accuracy of incoming payments compared to booking system
• Prepares and processes outgoing artist payments
• Prepares detailed check and wire statements for outgoing artist payments
• Maintains database with artist addresses, tax and payment information including gathering tax forms (W-9’s and W-8BEN) for all new clients
• Creates and manages statement folder for funds being wired to clients
• Maintains deposit payments for future engagements
• Answers client accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
• Manages and updates check and wire register
• Assists in annual preparation of Form 1099/1042
• Assists with audit requests
• Creates monthly Accounts Receivable Reports including reconciliations to Balance sheet

Staff Accountant Skills and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Accounting or Certified Bookkeeper, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a business environment
• Must have basic knowledge of accounting practices including but not limited to, A/R, A/P, G/L, reconciliations, invoicing, month/year end closing
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Access
• Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills
• Good communication skills
• Experience using MS Dynamics/Great Plains is a plus
• Must adhere to strict confidentiality policy and have a strong sense of integrity
• Ability to work with all staff members to develop and implement Data Standards as established by Management
