YO-YO MA AND GABRIELA MONTERO TO PERFORM FOR OBAMA'S INAUGURATION

Gabriela Montero, Yo-Yo Ma
Cellist Yo-Yo Ma and pianist Gabriela Montero will be among the performers participating in Barack Obama's inauguration ceremony. The artists will perform music arranged by John Williams, the composer whose music was heard at Mr. Obama’s victory party on election night in Grant Park. Yo-Yo Ma and Gabriela Montero will be joined by Itzhak Perlman on violin and Anthony McGill on clarinet. Aretha Franklin is also scheduled to perform. The ceremony will take place on January 20, 2009 in Washington, D.C.
