Oscar Jockel awarded Herbert von Karajan Prize at Salzburg Easter Festival

Conductor and Composer Oscar Jockel has been awarded the Herbert von Karajan Prize at Salzburg Easter Festival. He will be conducting the co-production Westbam meets Wagner at the Felsenreitschule Salzburg as part of the Salzburg Easter Festival on April 6, 2023 and at Gewandhaus Leipzig on April 15. Oscar Jockel arranged the score for this project, where electronic beats come together with the music of Richard Wagner.
