Blake Pouliot Named Winner of the 2018 Virginia Parker Prize

The Virginia Parker Prize is awarded to a musician, instrumentalist or classical music conductor under the age of 32 who demonstrates outstanding talent, musicianship and artistic excellence and who makes a valuable contribution to artistic life in Canada and internationally. Blake Pouliot has been described by the Toronto Star as, “One of those special talents that come along once in a lifetime,” while La Presse wrote, following his debut with the Montreal Symphony, that he was “Clearly. Absolutely. Undoubtedly virtuoso.”
He is the Grand Prize winner of the 2016 Orchestra Symphonique de Montréal Manulife Competition.  View the full Virginia Parker Prize site here
