“DIAVOLO combines organized peril with drama and mordant wit." -The New York Times

“DIAVOLO weaves together an impressive selection of works that reflect a clever use of architectural engineering and the playful yet powerful athleticism of its performers.” -Ottawa Citizen

Opus 3 Artists is thrilled to announce exclusive representation of DIAVOLO | Architecture in Motion® in North America. DIAVOLO's distinct movement style uses towering structures to explore the relationship between the danger of our environment and the fragility of the human body. A fusion of ballet, contemporary dance, acrobatics, gymnastics, martial arts, hip-hop and pedestrian movement, DIAVOLO's performances evoke the feeling of watching a live abstract painting. Founded by Artistic Director Jacques Heim, Diavolo has been presented to sold-out audiences throughout the U.S, Europe, Asia, and Latin America.

The company has created dozens of works over the past twenty years including their seminal piece Trajectoire and the Los Angeles Philharmonic-commissioned trilogy, L’Espace du Temps. In 2015 Diavolo will premiere their latest work Cubicle and will celebrate their 25th Anniversary in 2017. The company is committed to education and outreach, their Diavolo Institute offers dance education programs that reach thousands of people each year.
