Opus 3 Artists is happy to welcome Sebastian Lang-Lessing to our roster of esteemed conductors. Among the most versatile and seasoned musicians of his generation, Lang-Lessing is a sought-after guest at the most prestigious symphony halls and opera houses world wide. This season marks his fifth year as Music Director of the San Antonio Symphony Orchestra, and finds him at the helm of many distinguished  orchestras and opera houses.

Lang-Lessing recently led the San Antonio Opera in a production of Salome to critical acclaim and will take the podium at the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing for a production of Der Rosenkavalier. Recent engagements have included the Grand Teton Music Festival, Seattle Opera, Milwaukee Symphony, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Cincinnati Symphony, Vancouver Symphony, San Diego Symphony, Naples Philharmonic, Oregon Symphony, Colorado Symphony, and the Florida Orchestra. 

Mr. Lang-Lessing's previous posts have included Resident Conductor at the Hamburg State Opera and Deutsche Oper Berlin, as well as Chief Conductor and Artistic Director of the Opera National de Lorraine, the Orchestre symphonique et lyrique de Nancy, and the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra.
