Nati Cano 1933-2014

10.06.14

Opus 3 Artists mourns the loss of our friend and mariachi pioneer Natividad “Nati” Cano. His ensemble Mariachi Los Camperos, widely considered one of the top mariachi ensembles in North America, helped popularize Mexican traditional music by bringing it out of the cantina and into the major concert halls and performing arts centers, including Disney Hall and Carnegie Hall.   Nati Cano's kindness, generosity and exuberance will be missed by friends and fans across the continent. Our hearts and condolences go out to his family.
