Opus 3 Artists is pleased to announce the signing of vocal ensemble VOCES8 for exclusive representation throughout North America.  Formed in 2003 by former Westminster Abbey choristers, the British octet performs repertoire ranging from Renaissance polyphony to modern jazz and pop arrangements.  The award-winning group maintains an extensive international tour schedule and has performed at major venues including: Wigmore Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall, Mariinsky Theatre Concert Hall, Tel Aviv Opera House, National Concert Hall Taipei, Cité de la Musique in Paris, Dijon Opera House, National Centre for the Performing Arts Beijing and Shanghai Concert Hall.  They have also appeared with the Philharmonia and London Philharmonic orchestras.

VOCES8 has an ongoing schedule of live broadcasts and recordings and is heard regularly on international television and radio.  Eventide (2014), the group’s first release with Decca Classics/Universal, shot to number one for two weeks on the UK Classical charts.  In 2013, the group was nominated for seven Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards (CARA), winning Best Classical Album and Best Classical Song.  VOCES8 is an Ambassador for Edition Peters, publisher of arrangements and educational material including the VOCES8 A Cappella Songbook and The VOCES8 Method.

The group is proud to be the flagship ensemble of the charitable foundation Voces Cantabiles Music (VCM) whose innovative education work has been praised by UNESCO.  Inspiring creativity and excellence through music, VOCES8 leads a series of workshops reaching over 20,000 people annually worldwide.  In 2013, VCM, in partnership with the Diocese of London, established The Gresham Centre, a vocal Centre for Excellence housed at Sir Christopher Wren's beautiful St Anne & St Agnes Church.

VOCES8 has received support from Arts Council England, the Musicians Benevolent Fund and the Worshipful Company of Musicians, and is sponsored by clothier T.M.Lewin.
