Isabelle Faust Joins Gewandhaus Orchester Leipzig on its European Festival Tour

Isabelle Faust will join the Gewandhaus Orchester Leipzig on its European Festival tour this week, stepping in for Hilary Hahn. She will play the Dvořák Violin Concerto with Gewandhaus music director Andris Nelsons conducting. The tour begins at Austria’s Grafenegg Festival and continues on to the Royal Albert Hall for a BBC Proms date, followed by two concerts in Spain, San Sebastian and Santander, finishing in Paris at the Philharmonie de Paris. Isabelle will then return to Leipzig to open the orchestra’s 25-26 Season.
