Organist Cameron Carpenter Joins the Roster

Opus 3 Artists is pleased to announce North American representation of GRAMMY-nominated organist Cameron Carpenter.

One of the most visionary and unconventional figures in classical music today, Carpenter made history as the first organist ever nominated for a GRAMMY Award for a solo album. His ground-breaking career has been recognized with major honors including the Leonard Bernstein Award, ECHO Klassik, and Opus Klassik Awards.

A Juilliard graduate, Carpenter has appeared at leading venues around the world including the Royal Albert Hall, Sydney Opera House, and Berliner Philharmonie and collaborated with major orchestras including the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony, Boston Symphony, Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, and Orchestre Philharmonique de Luxembourg.

Carpenter’s boundary-pushing work also includes live improvised accompaniment to classic silent films including 1920s epics from the terror of Nosferatu to the whimsy of Buster Keaton’s The General. These performances create immersive cinematic experiences that blend improvisation, organ performance, and film.

His recordings include the chart-topping All You Need Is Bach and his 2021 Konzerthaus Berlin album featuring Bach’s Goldberg Variations. Whether in recital, accompanying a silent-film, or with orchestra, Carpenter’s performances continue to challenge expectations and expand the expressive possibilities of the organ.
