In demand around the world, Angel tours in the United States, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Spain, Italy, France, Croatia and Russia. He has appeared in concert at renowned venues such as Carnegie Hall, Musikverein in Vienna, Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth, TX, Concert Halls of the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, the Great, Small and Rachmaninov Halls of the Moscow Conservatory, and Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow.
Angel’s current and upcoming season highlights including a solo recital in Harris Concert Hall at the Aspen Music Festival and a recital for the Steinway Society – The Bay Area. His current orchestral engagements include a tour with the Russian National Orchestra and concerts with the St. Petersburg Philharmonic. He has performed with some of the major orchestras around the world, including Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra, Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra under Marin Alsop and Carlos Miguel Prieto and the Malaga Philharmonic Orchestra in Spain.
An active participant with many international music festivals, Angel has appeared at Rheingau Musik Festival (Germany), Piano Loop Festival (Croatia), American Fine Arts Festival (USA), Rafael Orozco Piano Festival (Spain), Úbeda Music Festival (Spain), International Music Festival “Stars on Baikal,” Shostakovich International Music Festival (St. Petersburg), the International Piano Project “Pianissimo” (Russia) and ArsLonga International Music Festival.
Angel is a winner of more than 35 international competitions. At the age of 20, he achieved laureate status at the 17th International Tchaikovsky Competition, receiving 2nd Prize and Silver Medal (2023). In 2025 he became the youngest finalist of the XVII International Van Cliburn Piano Competition at the age of 22. Among other notable achievements are First Prize at the International Rachmaninoff Piano Competition (2020) and multiple awards at the 63rd International Piano Competition “Premio Jaen” in Spain (2022) including First Prize and two special prizes for Best Performance of Chamber Music and original work by composer Laura Vega. With these awards, Angel became the most awarded pianist in the 63-year history of the competition.
Born in 2003 to a family of musicians in Los Angeles, California, he began studying piano at the age of five under the guidance of his mother. Angel is currently finishing his studies at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, where he studies with Professor Natalia Trull.
