Firmly positioned as a leading exponent of his instrument, \u201cThe hottest guitarist in the world\u201d (<em>Sunday Times<\/em>), Milo\u0161 has appeared in some of the most important concert halls and at major festivals around the world, while continually topping the charts with his best-selling recordings.<\/p>\n<p>His first three releases on Deutsche Grammophon achieved worldwide success, leading to <em>BBC Music<\/em> Magazine crowning him \u201cclassical music\u2019s guitar hero.\u201d His recording of Rodrigo\u2019s concerto with Yannick N\u00e9zet-S\u00e9guin and the London Philharmonic had the <em>Sunday Times<\/em> calling him \u201cThe King of Aranjuez,\u201d while his 2019 album, <em>Sound of Silence<\/em>, hit number 1 on the Amazon Classical charts.<\/p>\n<p>Milo\u0161 is the first ever classical guitarist to have performed in solo recital at the Royal Albert Hall in London. <em>The Guardian<\/em> raved: \u201cMore extraordinary by far was the way a single guitarist could shrink the Hall\u2019s cavernous space into something so close.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In August 2018, Milo\u0161 returned to the Royal Albert Hall to give the world premiere of <em>Ink Dark Moon<\/em>, an exciting new concerto written for him by Joby Talbot, at the BBC Proms. In the US he has appeared with major orchestras including the Chicago Symphony, Philadelphia Orchestra, LA Philharmonic, and The Cleveland Orchestra.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Montenegro in 1983, Milo\u0161 emigrated to London at age 16 to pursue a scholarship at the Royal Academy of Music.
