Concurrently, McDermott and the 37-year-old San Diego nonprofit are today announcing their 2027 Spotlight series schedule. To be held Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays between late January and early May, the series will feature a dozen concerts at various area venues, including concert halls and private homes\u2026. McDermott this summer concluded a 16-year run in Colorado as Bravo! Vail Music Festival\u2019s Artistic Director. She [curated] Mainly Mozart\u2019s Spotlight series from 2011 until 2020. The series was curated from 2022 until this year by Mainly Mozart CEO and co-founder Nancy Laturno\u2026. McDermott spoke with palpable enthusiasm about the 2027 Spotlight lineup, which will feature such top-rated musicians as cellist Carter Brey, clarinetists Anthony McGill and Osmo V\u00e4nsk\u00e4, violinists Paul Huang and Erin Keefe, and pianists Delvan Lin, Greg Anderson and Elizabeth Joy Roe.
