He is a longtime member of the renowned PRISM Quartet and a champion of contemporary music credited with over 300 premieres and 60 recordings by eminent composers worldwide. \u201cA titan of contemporary music\u201d (<em>The Cleveland Plain Dealer<\/em>), recent highlights include his acclaimed debut with the New York Philharmonic featuring John Corigliano\u2019s saxophone concerto, <em>Triathlon<\/em>; John Adams\u2019s <em>Saxophone Concerto<\/em> at the BBC Proms under Marin Alsop; Tyshawn Sorey\u2019s Pulitzer Prize-winning <em>Adagio (For Wadada Leo Smith)<\/em> with the Atlanta Symphony; and the world premiere of James Lee III\u2019s <em>Abiding Legacy<\/em> with the Nashville Symphony. His recording of Adams\u2019s <em>Saxophone Concerto <\/em>and<em> City Noir<\/em> was honored with a GRAMMY Award.<\/p>\n<p>Additional concerto premieres and upcoming recording releases include works by Jennifer Higdon, Catherine Likhuta, Nathalie Joachim, Kenneth Fuchs, Pierre Jalbert, Steven Mackey, Paul Moravec, Michael Shapiro, and Adolphus Hailstork.<\/p>\n<p>Timothy McAllister will be managed by Constance Chiu and Matthew Oberstein.
