The GRAMMY Award\u2013nominated soprano is acclaimed for her vocal versatility, dramatic depth, and polished musicianship across lyric, bel canto, and contemporary repertoire. This season features her debut at the Finnish National Opera in Turnage\u2019s <em>Festen<\/em> (Mette).<\/p>\n<p>Jarman\u2019s operatic career includes major title roles such as <em>Manon, Maria Stuarda, <\/em>and<em> Lucia di Lammermoor<\/em>, as well as leading roles in <em>La traviata<\/em> (Violetta), <em>Rigoletto<\/em> (Gilda), <em>La boh\u00e8me<\/em> (Mim\u00ec\/Musetta), <em>Peter Grimes<\/em> (Ellen Orford), <em>Aureliano<\/em> <em>in<\/em> <em>Palmira<\/em> (Zenobia), <em>La sonnambula<\/em> (Amina), <em>La fille du r\u00e9gimen<\/em>t (Marie), <em>I Capuleti e i montecchi<\/em> (Giulietta), <em>Guillaume Tell<\/em> (Mathilde), and all four heroines in<em> Les contes d\u2019Hoffmann<\/em>. She has performed with major companies including Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Staatsoper Hamburg, Gran Teatre del Liceu, Opernhaus Z\u00fcrich, and English National Opera to name a few.<\/p>\n<p>On the concert stage, she has appeared with leading orchestras including the Boston Symphony, BBC Scottish Symphony (BBC Proms), Tonhalle-Orchester Z\u00fcrich, and NHK Symphony. Particularly noted for contemporary work, she is a frequent collaborator with George Benjamin in <em>Written on Skin<\/em> (Agn\u00e8s) and <em>Lessons in Love and Violence<\/em> (Isabel). Her Royal Opera House debut in <em>Kr\u00f3l Roger<\/em> (Roxana) earned a GRAMMY nomination.
