Emerging from Vienna\u2019s long choral tradition, the Vienna Girls Choir continues the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opus3artists.com\/artists\/vienna-boys-choir\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vienna Boys Choir<\/a>\u2019s legacy of excellence with a distinct voice and vision of its own. Founded in 2004 with just a handful of singers, the ensemble has grown into a full-fledged choir of 26 girls between the ages of 10 and 14, now official students at Campus Augarten where they receive the same rigorous musical training as the Vienna Boys Choir.<\/p>\n<p>The Vienna Girls Choir first captured international attention in 2023, performing alongside the Vienna Boys Choir and the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra at the orchestra\u2019s iconic New Year\u2019s Concert conducted by Franz Welser-M\u00f6st.<\/p>\n<p>Recent highlights include their first European tour in 2025, performances at the Vienna Musikverein with Academy Award-winning actress Marion Cotillard in <em>Jeanne d\u2019Arc au b\u00fbcher<\/em>, at the Vienna Konzerthaus in <em>Carmina Burana<\/em>, and at the wien modern Festival in St. Stephen\u2019s Cathedral.
