In a grand final concert attended by Her Majesty Queen Sonja\u2014who personally presented the awards\u2014O\u2019Mara and Prall stood out among 40 of the world\u2019s leading young singers.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"698\" data-end=\"930\">The Queen Sonja Singing Competition, held biennially, is one of the world\u2019s foremost platforms for launching international opera careers, offering participants not only prizes but also coaching, masterclasses, and global exposure.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"932\" data-end=\"1452\">O\u2019Mara\u2019s triumph follows a string of notable successes, including <strong data-start=\"998\" data-end=\"1075\">First Prize and the Birgit Nilsson Prize at the 2024 Operalia Competition<\/strong>, membership in LA Opera\u2019s Domingo-Colburn-Stein Young Artist Program, and debuts at The Metropolitan Opera (<em data-start=\"1184\" data-end=\"1209\">Il barbiere di Siviglia<\/em>, Berta) and San Diego Opera (<em data-start=\"1239\" data-end=\"1250\">La boh\u00e8me<\/em>, Mim\u00ec). She also appeared in concert with the LA Philharmonic in excerpts from <em data-start=\"1330\" data-end=\"1338\">Carmen<\/em> conducted by Gustavo Dudamel at the Hollywood Bowl, and with The Dallas Opera for their annual Holiday Concert.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1454\" data-end=\"1915\">Prall, a <strong data-start=\"1463\" data-end=\"1556\">2024 Grand Finals Winner of The Metropolitan Opera Eric and Dominique Laffont Competition<\/strong>, received the 2023 Rose Bampton Award from The Sullivan Foundation. She performed with The Atlanta Opera (<em data-start=\"1663\" data-end=\"1680\">Die Zauberfl\u00f6te<\/em>, Dritte Dame), at Hudson Hall in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opus3artists.com\/artists\/r-b-schlather\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">R. B.
