Opus 3 Artists welcomes Time For Three for North American representation. The spontaneous and virtuosic trio defies genre and spreads a contagious joy throughout their stand alone orchestral performances.

Defying convention and boundaries, Time For Three stands at the busy intersection of classical music, Americana, and singer-songwriter. To experience Time For Three (TF3) live is to hear the various eras, styles, and traditions of Western music fold in on themselves and emerge anew. Bonded by an uncommon blend of their instruments fused together with their voices, Charles Yang (violin, vocals), Nicolas “Nick” Kendall (violin, vocals), and Ranaan Meyer (double bass, vocals), have found a unique voice of expression to share with the world.

TF3 has a long history of working with acclaimed contemporary classical composers including Chris Brubeck and Pulitzer Prize winners William Bolcom and Jennifer Higdon. They premiere their most recent commission, Contact by Pulitzer Prize winner Kevin Puts, July 14, 2022 with the San Francisco Symphony and then again later in the month with The Philadelphia Orchestra.

TF3 has performed with the Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Utah, and Seattle Symphonies, among many others, plus internationally with the Czech Philharmonic, BBC Concert Orchestra, and Hong Kong Philharmonic. Residencies include a twelve year residency with the Indianapolis Symphony and the Sun Valley Music Festival Orchestra. They were featured on the “Night of the Proms” European arena tour sharing the stage with artists including Chaka Khan and Ronan Keating. The trio has collaborated with a diverse group of artists across many genres including Ben Folds, Branford Marsalis, Joshua Bell, Aoife O’Donovan, Natasha Bedingfield, and Arlo Guthrie.

Time for Three’s latest project is an album released June 10, 2022 on Deutsche Grammophon. The album, entitled Letters for the Future, was recorded with The Philadelphia Orchestra at Verizon Hall, conducted by Xian Zhang.

About this new relationship, Time For Three says: “We are thrilled to join Matthew Oberstein and Opus 3 Artists for North American representation. We have so much respect for our colleagues on this tremendous roster. Further, Matthew has been a longtime friend, looking after many of our peers in the industry, and is someone that we feel really understands our creative vision firsthand. We look forward to continuing to perform with organizations that have a rich tradition while being committed to progressively moving our world of music forward.”

Time for Three’s general management is with Park Avenue Artists.
