This new\u00a0mentorship initiative pairs seasoned managers with an outstanding early-career musician and a network of support carefully crafted for the individual.<\/p>\n<p>Winner of first prize and the audience choice award at the 24th Annual Sphinx Competition in 2021 at age 12, Amaryn Olmeda is a rising star sought after for her bold and expressive performances as a soloist and collaborator. In the 2021\/22 season, Olmeda debuted as soloist with the Philadelphia Orchestra, Seattle Symphony, Buffalo Philharmonic, Richmond Symphony, Stockton Symphony, Auburn Symphony and Classical Tahoe Orchestra. In 2020, Olmeda was featured as the San Francisco Chamber Orchestra\u2019s Debut Artist at their New Year\u2019s Concert Series, which earned her a nomination for the San Francisco Classical Voice Audience Choice Awards. She has been a fellow with National Public Radio\u2019s classical music podcast, \u201cFrom the Top.\u201d Olmeda is a pre\u2013college student and Joseph Chan Scholarship recipient at SFCM, studying violin with Ian Swensen.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I am incredibly thrilled and honored to join the family of Opus 3 Artists,\u201d said Olmeda. \u201cOpus 3 has a long history of representing the finest solo performers and ensembles around the world, and now I have the privilege to be a part of their legacy.
