Portraits in Creativity

The River And The Thread ?
Singer-songwriter Rosanne Cash takes us on an intimate journey in the newest short film from Gael Towey's "Portraits in Creativity" series. Debuting today, the video highlights the stories behind the making of Rosanne's latest record, currently nominated for three GRAMMYs.

In this highly personal, 17-minute documentary, Rosanne reveals her deepest influences: her family, her musical heritage, and the deep, dark, and mystical South. The film traces The River And The Thread from its genesis to its recording to the road. We see her creative process, witness her emotional connections, and feel the power of her stories.
