Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater to Guest Star on Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance
8/7 C TONIGHT, November 11th!

From Alvin Ailey

Tonight at 8/7c, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater’s Clifton Brown, Linda Celeste Sims and Constance Stamatiou will guest star on the sixth season of Fox’s wildly popular So You Think You Can Dance (SYTYCD).  The Ailey dancers will perform an excerpt from Ulysses Dove’s Episodes, an explosive tour de force ballet created in 1987.  In 2008, Ailey was the first concert dance company to guest star on the Emmy award-winning show.

Episodes is one of over 40 ballets by 20 choreographers represented from December 2-January 3 when Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater returns to New York City Center.  For schedule and further information on Ailey’s season celebrating Judith Jamison on her 20th year as artistic director  click here. AAADT’s 20-city national tour begins in New York and travels around the U.S. making stops in Atlanta, Miami, Washington D.C., Boston and Chicago among many others. For a full tour schedule click here.
