American tenor John Nuzzo is quickly making a name for himself on the international opera scene.

This season, Mr. Nuzzo makes his debuts at the Michigan Opera Theater and the Arizona Opera as Nemorino in L'Elisir d'amore. He recently appeared at the Pittsburgh Opera as Nemorino and at the Metropolitan Opera as Rinuccio in Gianni Schicci and the Song Seller in Il Tabarro in a new production of  Il Trittico, which was broadcast in HD in movie theaters around the world. In concert, Mr. Nuzzo has been heard in the Berlioz Requiem with the NHK Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Charles Dutoit, a concert version of Fidelio with James Levine and the Munich Philharmonic, and Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 and most recently a concert of operatic arias with the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra.

Born in Tokyo, Mr. Nuzzo studied music at Chapman University in Southern California
