This season, baritone Daniel Teadt sings the Count in theAix-en-Provence Festival's 2007 prodcution of Le Nozze di Figaro in Luxembourg, and makes his debuts at the Opera Company of Philadelphia in their production of Cyrano and with the London Symphony Orchestra in performances of Billy Budd, conducted by Daniel Harding.  He recently made his debut at the Arizona Opera as the Count in a production directed by Sir Thomas Allen, and returned to the Pittsburgh Opera as Papageno in Die Zauberflöte and Donald in Billy Budd.  An alumnus of the Pittsburgh Opera Center, his roles there included Harlekin in Ariadne auf Naxos, the title role in Il Ritorno d'Ulisse in Patria, Fiorello in Il barbiere di Siviglia, Moralès in Carmen, and Curio in Guilio Ceasare ... read full bio
